I never could figure how a "Couple" making $150K a year combined, could be 2 weeks away from bankruptcy.

The title had me thinking it would only state the 5 signs.

But it also gives "solutions".....

I am debt-free and save - in total agreement with these being solutions.

There are OTHER solutions mentioned.

This article isn't really about reaching RETIREMENT READINESS GOALS.

It is an article about poor financial habits that most people exhibit throughout their lives.

With the exception of Item 5, most people are guilty of Items 1 through 4 for their entire working career.

Then they wonder how they possibly can retire.

Social Security provides barely enough for food.

If someone doesn't plan financially from early in their career, then they will be outa luck when they grow old.

What's with these "tags" things? ๐Ÿค”

That was #1  I personally wouldn't have the free time to spend that kind of money.

Lesson learned today: Live large, & everyone will pity you when you fall.
