Memory Care price increases

My wife is in a memory care unit in NC.

I recently received a substantial increase for her care without an

explanation.

Is there a regulating body for amount and frequency of memory care

increases?  Thanks-Rod

7-10K/month that will be a great start to deplete your funds.

Well, workers got a pay increase probably administration too.

Workmans’ Comp and other insurance cost also increased.

Most likely any workers benefits like health insurance has also increased.

They also increase the care cost on a personal basis - more need = more care = more $$$$ - that way with most all assisted living places.  they vary as to when this gets reviewed - sometimes more often than others.

There isn’t any regulations on price increases - State regulators just monitor that there are enough workers and facilities to create a safe and care environment - including background checks on the workers and investigating any complaints or incidences.
