Can't choose a new avatar

When I try to choose a new avatar, I get to this screen (see below) and can't choose any of the unusual avatar choices provided.  I also can't upload my own.  The screen freezes up and then has a Chrome error.

I cleared cookies and tried a Samsung browser instead of Chrome. The Samsung browser would timeout.  I only use a phone to access the Internet.  Maybe if I had a desktop computer snd wired Internet it would work. I'll just continue to look like a dark-haired dude on my profile.

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work using your Samsung browser, @cmulinix. We've found out that Chrome works best based on feedback we've received from users. - Diana G.
