Reluctance to having in home care giving services

My Mom is reluctant to pay for in home care giving services, even though it's needed. She does have one lady coming twice a week for a few hours, but it's not enough. My Mom needs a personal assistant, someone to escort her to doctor appointments so there's that as well. I feel she could use help 5 days a week. I live 2 hrs. away and can't keep driving there to take care of needs that have a way of popping up. She bothers our daughter alot, who does live in her neighborhood and has her own life and job. Mom lives alone and I think she has hung on long enough trying to maintain the house. The lady who comes now probably does some housework. I'm tired of seeing her struggle. She doesn't want to pay alot for help. Most agencies have 'm ready to pay for it myself even when she objects.
